Audi Recovery FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Audi car recovery cost in Dubai?
There is no single fixed price, because the cost depends on where the car is, which model it is, whether it rolls freely and how difficult the access is. A short daytime collection of a standard-height A4 from Al Barsha sits at the lower end, while a late-night extraction of a non-rolling RS Q8 from a tower basement in Dubai Marina sits at the top. Send us your model, your location and a photo on WhatsApp and we will give you a straight figure before we dispatch, with no obligation and no charge for the quote.
How quickly can you reach my Audi?
It depends on where you are and what the traffic is doing. Within the central corridor — Al Quoz, Business Bay, Downtown, Al Barsha, Jumeirah — we are usually with you well inside the hour outside peak times. Longer runs to Jebel Ali, Dubai South or the outer desert-edge communities take longer, and rush hour on Sheikh Zayed Road affects everything. We give you a realistic arrival window when you call rather than an optimistic one.
Do you use a flatbed or a wheel-lift tow truck?
Flatbed, always, with all four wheels off the ground. This is not a preference, it is a requirement for quattro all-wheel-drive models, for S tronic and DSG dual-clutch gearboxes and for Multitronic CVT units, all of which can be damaged by having wheels turning while the engine is off. Front-wheel-drive Audis go on the bed too, because the gearbox risk applies to them as well and it removes any chance of tyre or brake damage in transit.
Can you recover my Audi from an underground car park?
Yes, and we do it constantly in Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown, Business Bay and DIFC. Low basement ceilings and tight ramp turns are the main obstacle, so tell us the height restriction and the parking level when you call and we will send the right equipment. Cars that will not roll are moved out on skates or winched to a point where the flatbed can load safely.
Do you carry out diagnostics before quoting for the repair?
Always. Once the car is at our workshop we run a full diagnostic session across every control module, not just the engine ECU, and read freeze-frame data and live values alongside the stored faults. Mechanical checks follow where the symptoms call for them. Only then do you get a written quote, because quoting a repair from a warning light alone is how owners end up paying for parts they never needed.
Is the recovery charge included if you do the repair?
The return journey is — our free drop-off anywhere in Dubai covers bringing the repaired car back to you, so you are never paying twice or arranging your own transport to collect it. The initial recovery itself is quoted separately and depends on distance, access and vehicle, but it works out considerably better value when it is part of one continuous job with us rather than a standalone callout from a general recovery firm.
Which Audi models do you recover and repair?
The complete petrol range: A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8; the full S line-up including S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8; the RS models including RS 3, RS 4, RS 5, RS 6 and RS 7; TT, TTS and TT RS; the R8; and the whole Q range from Q2 and Q3 through Q5, Q7 and Q8 including SQ5, SQ7, SQ8, RS Q3 and RS Q8. Grey imports and personally imported cars are welcome.
Do you offer a warranty on the repair work?
Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed, and parts carry the warranty offered by the manufacturer or supplier of the specific item fitted, which we confirm to you in writing on the quote. If something is not right after a repair, bring the car back and we will put it right. We would rather resolve an issue properly than have you go elsewhere.
Can you fix my Audi at the roadside instead of towing it?
Sometimes, and we always check. A flat battery, a loose terminal, a blown fuse or a simple coolant top-up can occasionally get a car moving again, and if that is the case we will tell you rather than load a vehicle that does not need loading. But anything involving oil pressure, overheating, drivetrain loss, braking or suspension collapse needs a workshop, proper diagnostic equipment and a ramp — and attempting a roadside repair on a live Dubai highway is not safe for anyone.
Do you work with insurance companies?
No. We handle direct, customer-paid work only. That keeps everything fast and transparent: no assessor visits, no waiting for approvals, and no repair scope dictated by what a policy will and will not cover. You deal with us, you approve the work, and the job gets done on your timeline rather than an insurer's.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, card and bank transfer, and payment is settled when the car is handed back to you. For larger repairs we set the cost out clearly in the written quote before anything is ordered, so there are no surprises at the end. If you need the invoice made out to a company for a fleet or business vehicle, just tell us at the time of booking.
Do you use genuine Audi parts or aftermarket parts?
Whichever suits the job and your budget — we can arrange genuine and OEM parts, quality aftermarket alternatives, or tested used parts for discontinued and expensive items. Genuine or OEM is our recommendation for critical components such as timing chain kits, water pumps, mechatronic units and air struts. For brakes, filters, bushes and general consumables, a good aftermarket brand often saves a lot of money with no real downside. We always explain the options rather than assuming.
How do I book a recovery?
Call or WhatsApp +971 52 791 4606. WhatsApp is fastest in an emergency because you can drop a location pin and send a photo or short video of the car, the dashboard or the noise. Tell us the model, the year, what happened and whether the car rolls, and we will confirm the equipment, the price and the arrival window straight away.
How often should an Audi actually need recovering?
A well-maintained Audi should rarely need it. Most of the recoveries we attend trace back to something that was showing warning signs beforehand — a battery already struggling in summer heat, a coolant level that kept dropping, a chain rattle on cold start that was ignored, or a service interval that stretched too far. Keeping to sensible oil change intervals, replacing the battery before it dies rather than after, and investigating small symptoms early is what keeps a car off the back of a truck.
Can you move a non-running Audi that has been parked for months?
Yes, and it is one of our most common non-emergency jobs. Cars left standing in Dubai typically have a completely flat battery, seized brakes and flat-spotted tyres, all of which we plan for before arriving. We release the parking brake correctly, winch the car aboard rather than dragging it, and bring it in for a proper recommissioning inspection covering fluids, brakes, tyres, belts and fuel condition before it goes back on the road.
