Audi Window Tinting FAQs
These are the questions Audi owners ask us most often before booking. If yours is not here, send it on WhatsApp and a technician will answer.
How much does Audi window tinting cost in Dubai?
The cost depends on the film you choose, your Audi model and how many windows are being tinted, whether old film needs removing and how complex the glass is. Ceramic film costs more than carbon but rejects far more heat. Send your model, year and a few photos on WhatsApp and we will give you a clear written quote with film options.
How long does it take to tint my Audi?
Most full-car tint jobs are completed within the same working day. Removing old film, tinting a panoramic roof or combining the tint with body repairs adds time, and we always confirm the timeline when you book. The film then continues to cure for several days after handover.
Will the tint match my Audi's factory privacy glass?
Yes. On models with factory privacy glass on the rear windows, we measure the existing shade and choose a front-door film that gives an even, uniform side profile while keeping the car within the legal limit.
Is your window tint legal in the UAE?
We tint every car within the UAE limits in force on the day. At the time of writing, side and rear windows may be tinted up to a maximum of 50% and the front windscreen must not be darkened. We check current rules before each job and will not fit a shade that breaks them.
Do you guarantee or warranty the tint?
Yes. Every job carries our written workmanship guarantee against bubbling, peeling and lifting caused by installation, and eligible premium films also come with the manufacturer's warranty against fading and discolouration. We confirm the exact terms for your chosen film when we quote.
Do you repair or replace damaged windows before tinting?
Yes. If a window is chipped, cracked or broken, or a seal or regulator has failed, we can arrange genuine, aftermarket or quality used replacement parts and fit them before tinting. We explain the options and prices first and only proceed with your approval.
Do you handle accident damage as well as tinting?
Yes. We are a full Audi body and paint workshop, so we can repair dents, scratches and panel damage, colour match and repaint to the Audi paint code, replace broken glass and then tint the car, all as one job with one team.
Do you work with insurance companies?
No. We do not deal with insurance companies. All our work is quoted to and paid for directly by the customer, which keeps the process simple, fast and free of claim paperwork or insurer approvals.
Do you collect and deliver my car?
Yes. Pickup and drop-off is free anywhere in Dubai. We collect your Audi from your home, office or building car park, tint it in our workshop and return it at an agreed time.
Which Audi models do you tint?
We tint every petrol Audi model, including the A1 to A8, the full S and RS range, the TT and R8, and the Q range including the Q2, Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, SQ models, RS Q3 and RS Q8.
What payment options do you offer?
You pay us directly once the work is complete and you are happy with the result. Our team confirms the accepted payment methods when you book, and your written quote shows the full price up front.
Can you tint the windscreen or panoramic roof?
The windscreen must not be darkened under UAE rules, but where regulations allow we can fit a clear heat-rejection film that keeps the view, sensors and head-up display fully functional. Panoramic roof glass can be filmed to cut heat and glare over the cabin.
Will ceramic tint affect my phone, GPS or Salik tag?
No. Ceramic and carbon films contain no metal, so they do not interfere with phone reception, navigation, Audi connect, keyless entry or your Salik tag. This is one of the main reasons we recommend them over metallised film.
Can you remove old tint without damaging the rear defroster?
Yes. We remove old film from heated rear screens using steam and adhesive removers rather than blades, which protects the delicate heating elements and antenna lines. We test the defroster after the new film is fitted.
How should I look after my new window tint?
Keep the windows closed for around three to five days while the film cures, and do not worry about slight haze or small water pockets during that time. Afterwards, clean the glass with a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner, and avoid sharp objects near the film.
Do you also do full body resprays and paintwork?
Yes. As an Audi paint and body shop in Dubai we carry out panel repairs, colour-matched repaints and full body resprays using manufacturer-matched paint in a dedicated spray booth, with blending and polishing for an invisible finish.
