Frequently Asked Questions
Audi Bumper Repair Dubai — Your Questions Answered
How much does Audi bumper repair cost in Dubai?
There is no single figure, because cost depends on the size of the bumper, how deep the damage goes, whether the panel can be repaired or needs replacing, your paint colour and how many adjacent panels need blending. A localised corner scuff on an A3 sits at the low end; a full-face refinish on an RS Q8 with sensor work and multiple blend panels sits at the high end. Send photos to +971 52 791 4606 on WhatsApp and we will give you a realistic range straight away, then confirm the exact price once we have seen the car.
How long does an Audi bumper repair and respray take?
A typical single-bumper repair and refinish takes two to three working days. That allows proper time for preparation, priming, colour, clear coat, curing and polishing — steps that cannot be rushed without compromising the result. Accident damage involving replacement panels, hidden structural damage or several blend panels usually takes longer, and we give you a realistic completion date when we quote rather than an optimistic one.
Will the colour match my Audi's factory paint exactly?
Yes. We read your Audi paint code from the vehicle data sticker and mix to the manufacturer formula, then verify the match against your actual car using spray-out test cards checked wet and dry, in booth light and in natural daylight, from multiple angles. Because paint fades and drifts over years of Dubai sun, we adjust the tint to match the car as it is today rather than as it left the factory. We then blend into the adjacent panels so there is no visible edge.
Do you guarantee your paintwork?
Yes. Our bodywork and paint is guaranteed against defects in our workmanship, including peeling, lifting, blistering and colour mismatch attributable to the repair. The guarantee covers our work — it does not extend to fresh damage, stone chips or neglect after the car leaves us. If you ever have a concern about a repair we carried out, bring the car back and we will inspect it.
Do you repair bumpers or replace them?
We repair wherever a repair will genuinely last. Plastic bumpers are very repairable — cracks can be V-grooved and plastic-welded, deformation can be heat-formed back, and many mounting tabs can be rebuilt. We recommend replacement only when the mounting structure is destroyed, the panel is shattered across multiple sections, or when a repair would cost more than a sound replacement panel. We will always tell you which option we would choose for our own car.
Do you handle accident damage, not just cosmetic scuffs?
Yes. We handle low-speed and moderate collision damage including deformed bumper covers, broken mounting points, cracked absorber foam, damaged reinforcement bars, associated wing and headlamp bracket damage, and the parking sensors, radar and cameras that sit behind modern Audi bumpers. We check and function-test all bumper electronics before the car goes back, so you do not collect a beautifully painted car with warning lights on the dashboard.
Do you work with insurance companies?
No. We do not deal with insurance companies at all — every job we take is direct and customer-paid. That keeps the process simple and fast: you agree the work with us, we do it, and you settle with us on completion. There are no claim forms, no adjuster appointments and no waiting weeks for an approval before your car can be touched.
Do you collect and deliver the car?
Yes, free of charge, anywhere in Dubai. We collect from homes, villa compounds, apartment building parking and office towers across the emirate, and we return the car washed once the work is complete and quality-checked. This is particularly useful when a bumper is hanging loose or the car is unpleasant to drive after an incident. Just tell us where the car is and a time that works.
Which Audi models do you cover?
Every petrol Audi model — A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8; the full S range including S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, SQ5, SQ7 and SQ8; the RS range including RS 3, RS 4, RS 5, RS 6, RS 7, RS Q3 and RS Q8; the TT, TTS and TT RS; the R8; and the Q family from Q2 and Q3 through Q5, Q7 and Q8. Our technicians work exclusively on Audi vehicles, so the bumper design, clip layout and paint behaviour of your model is already familiar.
Are you an authorised Audi dealer?
No, and we are clear about that. We are an independent Audi specialist body and paint workshop. What we deliver is dealer-level process and finish — manufacturer-matched paint, booth application, proper curing and full blending — at independent pricing that is frequently up to 70% below the authorised dealership route for equivalent work.
What payment options do you accept?
Payment is direct and settled with us on completion of the work. We will confirm the accepted payment methods when we give you your quote, so there are no surprises at handover. Because we do not go through insurers, there is no third-party approval step and no deduction or excess to negotiate — the price we agree is the price you pay.
Do you carry out full body resprays as well as bumpers?
Yes. As well as bumper repair and painting we handle wings, doors, bonnets, tailgates, wheel arches, mirror caps, roof panels and full vehicle resprays, along with sun-fade correction and the repair of previous poor-quality paintwork. If you are considering a colour change or a complete refinish on an older Audi, contact us and we will walk you through what is involved and what it realistically costs.
How should I look after the new paint?
Fresh paint continues to harden for several weeks. For the first two to three weeks avoid automatic brush car washes, harsh solvent-based cleaners, and any wax, sealant or ceramic coating. Hand washing with a pH-neutral shampoo is fine immediately. Rinse off bird droppings and tree sap promptly, as both are aggressive in Dubai heat. If you plan to apply paint protection film or a ceramic coating over the repair, wait until we confirm the paint has fully cured.
Can you repair matte and satin finishes like Nardo Grey?
Yes, and we treat them as specialist work. Matte and satin finishes cannot be corrected by polishing after spraying, so every flaw has to be prevented during application rather than fixed afterwards. That demands tighter booth discipline and a more precise process. Tell us your exact finish when you contact us so we can plan the job and quote it properly from the outset.
Will a repaired bumper affect my Audi's resale value?
A properly executed repair should not. Problems arise when a repair is detectable — a hard masking line, a mismatched metallic, an uneven gloss level or paint that later lifts. Because we blend into adjacent panels, cure the finish properly and match the gloss to the surrounding original paint, the repair does not announce itself to a buyer or an inspection centre. Leaving damaged, cracked or sun-faded paintwork untreated almost always costs more at resale than fixing it correctly.
What if you find extra damage once the bumper is off?
We stop and contact you. Hidden damage behind a bumper — cracked absorber foam, a bent reinforcement bar, broken brackets or a distorted crash box — only becomes visible once the panel is removed. When we find something, we photograph it, send it to you, explain the options and wait for your approval before continuing. You will never receive an invoice containing work you did not agree to.
